Earlier today, Skymark Airlines announced a new logo jet that it will introduce to promote Shitamachi Bobsleigh Project. The new “Shitamachi Bobsleigh Jet” will operate from tomorrow, October 6, 2017, until December 2018.
It will join Skymark’s other special liveries including Taka Girl Jet promoting the Fukuoka Hawks baseball team, and Yamato Jet promoting Space Battleship Yamato 2202 anime.

Skymark Shitamachi Bobsleigh Jet
The Shitamachi Bobsleigh Project is a network of over 100 companies from Ota Ward in Tokyo that came together to produce a state-of-the-art sled.
The sled – that is the central part of the left side of the new livery – has been adopted by the Jamaican national bobsleigh team that will use it during the upcoming 2018 Pyeongchang Olympics.
Besides the main decals, the Boeing 737-800 registered JA73NT also features smaller decals pictured below including a Jamaican flag next to L1 door.
Finally, the livery also features logos of sponsors of the project. Interestingly, logo of ANA is included as well.
Similarly to other Skymark’s special liveries, the aircraft is not only special on the outside, but also on the inside. To be exact, rather than the ordinary Skymark headrest covers, it features special Shitamachi Bobsleigh ones.
The aircraft is expected to enter into service with the decals tomorrow with the first flight being BC301 from Tokyo Haneda to Kagoshima. After that, the aircraft will be deployed on routes throughout Japan.
