Jetstar Asia Airways to Launch Clark – Osaka Kansai Flights in March 2018

Jetstar Asia, Jetstar Group’s Singaporean subsidiary, will start flights between Clark in the Philippines and Osaka in Japan on March 27, 2018, the airline said in a statement released earlier this week.

3K777/3K778: Clark – Osaka Kansai and Back

The route connecting Clark with Osaka Kansai airport will be operated three times a week with the following schedule:

Tuesday, Thursday & Saturday

  • 3K777 from Clark to Osaka KIX: depart at 7:00AM, arrive at 11:55AM
  • 3K778 from Osaka KIX to Clark: depart at 12:55PM, arrive at 4:15PM

The flight will be operated using Airbus A320-200 aircraft – the sole type in Jetstar Asia’s fleet.

Not the First Jetstar Asia Route to Osaka

Once the new route is launched, it will be the first time the two cities – Clark and Osaka – will be connected directly. However, it will not be the first time for Jetstar Asia to operate to Osaka. The airline currently operates flights between Singapore and Kansai airport via Taipei as well as via Manila.

Separately, Jetstar Asia also operates between its Singapore base and Naha in Okinawa. These flights – also operated three times a week – started on November 17, 2017.
