FJ351/FJ350: Nadi – Tokyo Narita and Back
The direct flights between Nadi and Tokyo Narita will be operated three times a week with Fiji Airways’ A330 aircraft. The first flight will operate on July 3, 2018, and from then on, the route will be operated based on the following schedule:
Tuesday, Friday & Sunday
- FJ351 from Nadi to Tokyo NRT: depart at 1:25PM, arrive at 7:30PM
- FJ350 from Tokyo NRT to Nadi: depart at 9:25PM, arrive at 9:05AM the next day
As part of the announcement, Fiji Airways’ is offering all-inclusive roundtrip fares between Nadi and Tokyo Narita starting at 999FJD (a bit less than 500USD) bookable until December 12, 2017.
The Only, But Not the First Direct Connection Between Fiji and Japan
The flight will not be the first time Japan and Fiji will be connected directly. Until 2009, Fiji Airways’ predecessor, Air Fiji, operated the Nadi – Tokyo Narita route as well.
Currently, however, there is no direct flight between the two countries – and passengers have to instead rely on connecting flights via Asia or Australia. As such, the direct flight will be a great addition to the network of direct routes out of Tokyo.
