Hi,
My name is Keishi Nukina and I’m an aviation enthusiast, the guy behind KN Aviation, and the author of this book. Besides that, I also occasionally contribute articles to a variety of aviation magazines. You can learn more about me here.
Over the last several years, I had the chance to take hundreds of flights – many of which I reviewed on this blog – covering hundreds of thousands of miles.
I wrote this book, so that – rather than learning many of the things about airline miles over a long period of time and missing out on rewards along the way like I did – you can get a grasp of the essentials right away.
I hope you will enjoy it and learn a thing or two!
What's Inside the eBook?
The book 55-page long book contains all the theory that you need to know to start taking full advantage of frequent flyer programs. It also contains real-life examples that demonstrate those principles. It’s dividide into the five sections below.
In the first section of the book, you will learn what frequent flyer programs are, about the two different types of miles that exist, as well as about what you need to know and consider before choosing which frequent flyer program(s) to use.
The second section of the book talks about the ways you can earn miles in – whether through flying or on the ground – and the best ways to maximize value when spending them. It also looks at whether or not it’s worth buying miles.
Depending on how much you fly, you might find it worth trying to earn an elite frequent flyer status. This section looks in detail at both how you can earn one, what perks you’ll be able to enjoy, as well as how to maximize those perks.
With the “theory” nailed down in the previous sections, this one brings those learning into practice through real case studies. In those, I will take you through some of the strategies that I used in specific mileage earning and spending situations.
The final section of the book looks at the terminology as well as the toolkit of a frequent flyer. It will give you lists of the terms you will encounter over and over again as well as tools and resources you will find useful as you continue to explore the world of miles.
