Starting from May 7, 2018, Air France plans to use Boeing 787-9 aircraft on its Paris-Osaka route.
AF292/293: Paris CDG – Osaka Kansai and Back
The route from Paris Charles de Gaulle to Osaka Kansai and back is currently operated daily by Boeing 777-200ER aircraft with the following schedule:
- AF292 from Paris CDG to Osaka KIX: depart at 1:30PM, arrive at 8:20AM the next day
- AF293 from Osaka KIX to Paris CDG: depart at 10:30AM, arrive at 4:15PM
While Air France has several different configurations of the 777-200ER, the one that seems to be used on the Kansai route most frequently features 28 reverse-herringbone business class seats, 24 premium economy class seats, and 260 economy class seats for a total of 312 seats.
The aircraft change will result in a slightly lower capacity on the route given that the 787-9 has a total of 276 seats, including 30 in business, 21 in premium economy, and 225 in economy class.
